EZE SPARKS A NEW ERA IN TRANSPORTATION
“
PURPOSE
“
REINVENTING INNER CITY MOVEMENT
“
TFL are planning to introduce a zero emission zone in central London by 2025 and in inner London by 2040. Zero-emissions transportation options are required for all classes of vehicle. The nature of transport is changing.
KEY DRIVERS FOR CHANGE
ENVIRONMENTAL
To offer a zero-emissions transportation option and reduce day-time traffic congestion.
LEGISLATION
To comply with the latest government rules and guidelines regarding new transportation solutions.
‘VISION ZERO’
To reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured on London's streets to zero.
TCO OF FLEETS
To provide logistics operators with a cost-effective alternative to conventionally powered vehicles.
OUR VISION:
“
A SAFER, ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE LONDON
“
EZE offers a zero-emission, cost-effective ‘last mile’ solution for urban locations - the Escher Truck.
Many businesses are now offering solutions for delivery vans but at present there is no bespoke option available for medium-duty 12t delivery trucks. The Escher solution will be a bespoke vehicle designed for-purpose to avoid the inevitable compromises inherent in the conversion of conventional vehicles. Escher will address key items in the strategy set by the Mayor of London in the TfL Freight and Servicing Action Plan.
Cities will benefit from improved air quality, reduced noise levels and improved road safety. Operators will benefit from a reduced total cost of ownership, improved fleet utilisation and an enhanced driver environment.
PROPOSITION
“
THE NEW WAY TO DELIVER
“
Escher will bring a radical change to the way goods are moved in our towns and cities, eliminating tailpipe emissions and improving the safety of pedestrians and other vulnerable road users.
“

EZE Truck was founded by four highly experienced automotive executives, each having held a series of director-level roles in automotive engineering and manufacturing businesses. Relationships between the leadership team date back over 30 years during which time a strong bond of trust and respect has been developed. Most recently, the full EZE Truck leadership team combined to deliver the new range-extended electric London Taxi for LEVC, a project on which they held individual responsibility for overall business management, Programme Management, development of the range extended electric powertrain and the set-up of the all-new LEVC production facility. In combination, the experience and skill-sets of the four leaders are a perfect match with the needs of the business.

Andy's experience was gained over the previous 25 years of executive positions within the automotive sector.
